On March the 14th Br. Casmiro Kito msc was raised to the podium of the Holy Priesthood at St. John Marie Vianney Parish, Tapini. It was a
joyous occasion which enabled many in the Tauade speaking Goilala to turn up in numbers to watch and pray in thankfulness to God for calling one of their sons to the mission of the multitude. They remembered the early missionaries and were grateful to relive their spirit in the offering of their son to God for his purpose.

He became the second missionary priest and the third of the priests in the Goilalas.

The very first was late Fr. Thaddeus Gutul msc, who died in 1998. Late Fr. Thaddeus was from Kamulai.

After him, his nephew and name sake Fr. Thaddeus Hoem, a diocesan priest from the Diocese of Bereina. Thaddeus Junior was ordained, also at Tapini in November 2008.

Casmiro is the first from the Tauade Speaking tribe of the Goilalas.
